Allright ,there have been lots of advertising on this forum.
And I just want to know things for sure.
Advertising is not allowed, but are there any special circumstances, that allow you to link an URL on the forum?

If a guy links to a page, and has only 2-3 posts, things are obvious - advertising.
If a guy says:"I just downloaded the track from http://www.anysite.com and it's a great track...."
Is that advertising? Im my opinion it is.
But if someone has like 100 posts on the forum,is he allowed to link a page?

Are tips and recommendations allowed??

Are there any written rules for these things?

Please add your opinion!

Hey, you just advertised Anysite.com.

I think you're right. For a senior or premium tranceaddict it should be allowed to publish a link and certainly for the moderators, too.
But I confess, that if I wrote a link to another site here, I didn't think about this being advertising or not (until today )

Bye,
P.

If it's something the vast majority of people on here would appreciate then I don't mind them linking... as long as they're an active participant on here or if they're replying to someone's question..

So if someone asked where can I get XXXXXXXXXXx.mp3 ?

and someone replied to them with a webpage that had it, I'd have no problem.

It's the idiots who just register and post their url that piss me off.

Having the same hassles with a gaming forum in South Africa (I won't post the url), the moderator has gone on holiday & we're suddenly getting spam for "Make money quick now", stuff like that. Reaaaal pain.

But I like Swamper's way of thinking, if a user requests it or it helps a user / topic of interest, then why not?

Okay, little mistake:
It must be "supreme", not "premium".

Sorry!

Seems to be very easy to become a Supreme TA. Simply write more than 200 posts.
For more detailed information, please contact "DJ Furee".

hehehe man I feel so special!!! Actually I put Tranceaddict as my home webpage, u peeps know what I mean... so every time someone goes on the net (frequently cuz I listen to net radio), Tranceaddict pops up and I can't resist posting

Anywhoo.. yeah I dun see why there should be a problem in posting links here, I bet tranceaddict is on other peepz' pages, I agree tho no one should register just to advertise...

latez...
