I love classical music like Bach,Mozart an what not.... I also love trance.. So i'm looking for some classical songs remixed into trance... I've been to parties a few times where they throw in a classical melody, i've found a few so far, but I want more.. Anyone know of any good songs to download?

i have a white label that was released years ago that has a 'requiem' sample in it with classical strings and such. sounds pretty cool. i'm kinda curious to know who did it but i really don't have the time to figure that out.
I've found a techno version and a electronic... for requiem soundtrack LOTR, as well as Requiem for a Dream..... course what they call techno an electronic I call crap.. lol
But i did find a Paul Oakenfold remix of it...

I've heard a few classical remixes, but they're usually not very good, and none that I would classify as trance.
Worth noting are remixes of O Fortuna, a famous symphonic piece by the composer Carl Orff. There are a number of remixes out, all on the harder and darker side of electronica - the best I've heard is credited to DJ Wicked. There are also some good mixes of various famous movie scores, some of which (like Star Wars) are very classical-sounding.

Well, it may not be a piece of "classical" music but it's heavy on the strings for sure: "Sunspot (Don't Cry My Love Mix)" - Airwave vs. Rising Star

I remember reading about an entire CD of classical trance mixes that one of Armin's companies had something to do with. (Armada???)
It was called Classical Trancelations... or something like that.
