EN2T - Mango's Dream (Original Mix)

Hayo all TA's,
Got a brand new track finished and wanted to see what you guys would say about it. No big supersaws or eurodance sounds in this one, but instead more lush and atmospheric synths. But don't get scared away! hehe, it's not prog. It's certainly got an energetic drive and a nice little melody (or so I'd like to think). Check it out and let me know your opinions:

The melody is really nice. Sound quality is pretty good for a 96 Kbps so I'm assuming the full version sounds amazing. I really like the bassline + the sound you used for that. I'm still struggling with bassline sounds myself.
Got bored with the chord progression between 1:40 and 2:08 but damn dude, the melody that comes in at 2:08 saves the day! Really nice.

I think the forum software can't parse the apostrophe in your link.

loved most of it.

either the last or second to last buildup was a bit flat.

very nice spacy pads in the intro!.

1.30, it's getting nice from here.

from 2.09 i would gate those nice pads.

break is really nice, but i would add some extra pads (fullstring patch, HUGE reverb) to make the break more overwhelming.

melody is nice for me.

nice job further.

Andy: thanks! i checked ur pm and will get back to you soon.

Dr. Pils: glad you liked the melodic transition =)

Dj Commisad: There was only one major breakdown, so I'm confused by which one you mean when you say second to last. Could you give specific track time?

Massive: I didn't really want to flood the break with enormous pads and reverb, I wanted it to be a bit more chill. But I'm glad you liked the rest of the track!

Thanks for the reviews, and keep em coming!
Stan.

good track, but tbh i was a little disappointed after the breakdown.

the intro is simply breathtaking with those spacey pads.. although the tempo is quite low, there's loads of energy in the first few minutes. the melody adds to that as well, hands in the air type of stuff.. it would have been even better if the extra melody you introduced at 2:10 was played by one of those long sweeping guitars..

then there is the breakdown, beautiful stuff.. but as i said, the breakdown is where the track ends. the new melody does not build on the previous few minutes, it does not hold the energy the track built up till then. i found myself jumping about with my hands in the air during the first few minutes, but afterwards i was sitting still.. the track picks up the pace again when the sweeping pads return, but it's still not the same as before..

other than that, the track is very nice. can't fault the mastering, even at 96kbps everything sounds well balanced.

Great track you have here. Love the pads in the break. Nice melody as well. Love the part where that plucked lead stops and you have the pads in the background. Great effort!
