Dunno What is the deal with......

Turnmills & Gods booking the same DJs on the same night??? First Ferry and now Armin & Remy! Mildly annoying I must say!

The Ferry incident was because of a mixup between promoter and agency. Don't know if it's the same situation this time?

Its fucking annoying

Because everytime i see a decent name at Turnmills on a Gallery night, it always ends up being the last person playing e.g at around 4am, because Gods always gets them to play first. And every time i go to see Armin/Ferry/whoever gods have nicked from Turnmills, i rarely bother staying to see them, because the previous DJ's have bored me to death. Its happened far too many times now, Turny, stop Gods from nicking your headliners!!!!! ( @ Grahame)

As far as Armin goes, Gods gets first shout on him. So turnmills really work around that in Armins case, not sure bout Ferry and the like

Its also called programming a night. You dont whack a trance dj on before a house dj. The Gallery have always been one of the best nights for programming a night perfectly, move from house to progressive trance to trance. How it always used to be.

^^ what he said, turnmills has always been a wicked night out
the only time i was ever dissapointed by turnmills was when they had dave seaman followed by lange and bk. i knew bk would be shit, and he was, but i expected lange to play some melodic trance akin to the stuff he produces, and all he did was play only slightly less hard thank bk.

gods did the same with gatecrasher... when it was weekly. gatecrasher would book a foreign name, sumone thats isnt featured on any/many lineups over here.. then gods would book them for the night before... as gods is a friday and GC was a saturday, i guess its the only way you stay ahead of the game if your promoter dosnt know his anus from his tonsils

Its actually whats known as dj sharing, the two clubs book a big name dj as they then share out his costs. i.e only one flight cost, hotel costs that sort of thing.

As Gods and turnmills are in close enough distance that the dj can get between both clubs in one night. It makes it possible for the clubs to do this. Also as the clubs like gods & gc are not really in competition it makes it possible too.

By doing this it makes it possible for the english clubs to get these big djs else they will go to other countries.

you will be glad to know that armin as agreed to keep all his london dates at turnmills for next year. As he always really loves playing at the club and actually always asks to play the later sets and was fookin' awesome on friday night!!

Armin will be back at turnmills at christmas for the christmas party in a very special line up watch out for that soon.

Makes sense I guess but......

Where was Remy on Friday? Not at GK thats for sure!

Personally im not that fussed about him as O'Bir was much better im sure but how is it that Gods can advertise a DJ that apparently was never going to turn up?

Don't know don't care, but I certainly had a f*ckin* good time at Turnmills . Nice club, intimate atmosphere, crazy horny-ass people, good music... yeah I liked it .
