Which "crotch rocket" do you own?

I'm a member of Supraforums.com and a bunch of the members own a sportbike besides their Supra and other cars. I have an '04 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6RR and an '01 Triumph TT 600. I love 600cc bikes...they're much more nimble than literbikes. I've ridden 1000cc bikes in this area and it's really no fun. There's not enough road to open them up...and the R1 and Gixxer 1000's throttle is pretty much an ON-OFF SWITCH...no fun in the twisties and they come off the ground too easy. That's why I got a Ninja 600 instead of the monster Ninja 1000. My buddies with literbikes take me on the few open roads, but on the twisties, my Ninja excels, hehe. I leave them behind.

if you prefer the agility of 600's to 1000's, you should try the 2-stroke 250's. peaky power, sound like a lawn mower going nuts, but they are quick and corner and brake so much better than the bigger bikes. Alas the powers that be over there decided to forbid two strokes on your roads. Of course they are totally impractical, take stupid amounts of fuel, cramped with the high pegs and low bars, but damn they are fun.

I've tried them but they don't have top end. I like a little bit of both worlds.

My first bike was an '89 Ninja 750...that was in '96. The thing was FAST...but too damn heavy for a skinny kid like me back then.
