atmosphere vst problem???

hi guys, heres a challenge for ya's. anyone who can figure out this problem i'm having i'll buy a christmas present

basically my friend gave me a copy of atmosphere vst about 2months ago. i never really used it due to the fact i use reason 2.5 mainly and only recently got cubase sx. well basically i went thru all the procedure of loading 6 cds. and eventually i got it up on my computer.

i basically left it then for a month or so just sitting in my vsts instruments folder and went back to just using reason. then a month or so later i decided to go learn cubase sx and when i when to open atmosphere it was no longer there. i could'nt understand it just was gone. i went into control panel add/remove and the program was still listed as been on my hard-drive, but i couldnt bring up the vst at all.

so basically i just accepted this and decided to get the discs back off my mate, now this is were i got the problem. cd 1 would load the plug-in and run its cycle, then when i ran cd 2 and it was close to the end if its cycle , it would fail and i would get a message saying unknown errror. i tried a few times and still got the same problem. i thought it was maybe the disc so i tried to copy each disc to my hard-drive and when cd 2 was close to completion i would get an error message again this time saying "cyclic redundancy error" what does this mean anyone???

i gave the cds back to my friend and he said they would load up no problem on his pc.

so what could it be, and also the fact that they loaded up the first time on my same pc?

my hard-drive is just about full so i was wondering could this be the problem since there would not be enough room to store 3GB of files of atmosphere. or even to do with RAM which i doubt.

you gotta help me guys and experts, i'm desperate to use atmosphere, start making some quality tunes.

p.s. its a crack version of atmosphere, but it has workered on everyone elses computer who have tried it so far???

Sounds like the cd is scratched

And also, expect this thread to be closed. TA does not support cracked software

No, and by everyone else's computer, we assume you mean that this software has never been used or distributed or copied or anything else that would violate the EULA. Having said that, get in touch with Spectrasonics and see if they'll refund your money. If they do, give me a call.

The reason it stopped working was because Atmosphere only has a short perioud in which you can register it, once it's on your computer.. I think 48 hours. After that all you can do is uninstall it.

Did you try uninstalling it via add/remove before putting it back on?
