There's no need for yet another thread about it. And by the way, all these arrogant demands from people who don't even know why "Ibero-America" is called "Ibero-America" (guess what, the idea first came from a Galician) does nothing but annoy those who could help. I've personally tried to do everything I could in order to help you guys - instead, some users insist on ignorance, ingratitude and prejudice as if "you had the right to have whatever you want". Have you even read the description of the forum?

No need to teach us geography, we had figured out that Spain wasn't in America. The reason why these regions together is because there weren't enough users. In fact, the choice of dividing into geographic regions (Europe/America) was offered, but we all chose to divide into languages (Portuguese/Spanish).
I find it really sad that some users were claiming that "they were not Latin, but Europeans", even though Spain and Portugal are the reason why Latin America is Latin. If there's a person who could complain about the latinity, that would be me, as we Brazilians also have a more complex Euro-afro-native-american heritage. Do you see us bothering? No, we're latin, we're caucasians, we're african... we know how useless "ethnicity" is, even though this sort of thing sometimes become, unfortunately, fashionable. It's even worse when they confuse it with the word Latino, which is ironically a Spanish (and Italian) word.
