that lizard was friggin awesome, the funny looking text is alright but it isnt nearly as unique as that frog thing was, I miss it.


It seems every website and visual media use that same stylist text approach these days, and its nothing more then a stupid fad that judges how pages should look, thus TA conforms to the world some more, bleh.



The new page does look nice tho, but the bald guy with the x on his head looks out of place without the matching frog, its like conflicting themes or somethin.

Bring back the FROG!!!

The text is exactly the same as the old text, same font, minus the bubble/3d effect. Reason for this being it is very difficult to reproduce on print and tshirts(other than white ones) - the logo always comes out looking like crap.

The lizard will return.. perhaps in a smaller role..but he's not dead.

on a side note, lots other boards are using a new vbulletin that looks really awesome, the search function pops up its own little box instead of having to load a new page, are we gonna get a hot new vbulletin thingy soon?

No, TA is too customized to use that version - and - it adds little to the overall use of the forums... I don't like the look of it either, more screen real estate taken up while viewing threads meaning you have to scroll more to read the same amount of content

There are also other issues with relative font sizing, since most ppl use IE - in the new vBulletin version if you go to a page and adjust your text size in your browser it will not affect the size of the fonts within the forums - which is bogus.
