and the track is advertised as using sample from voodoo people in it so its not ripping the original artist of and they will have got permission to do it.

not a ripp off just uses sample and credits are given if needed. they obviusly had the permisson. i like asys's version better than prodigy's

Ok thanks for the clarification. And for those of you who are like "omg this is so obvious" I just heard Voodoo People for the first time today (yeah I know it's kinda sad, but who cares). Some of you really need to chill out.

I actually haven't seen a topic like this. Go rip on the n00bs who always start those "Post your top 5 _____".If anything on TA gets posted every two days its a new one of those.

It is a rip-off to be fair. It steals both the main lead from Voodoo people, and several other elements from the track. And the guitars sound like the same chords as Voodoo People, but the riff was stolen from Nirvana's Very Ape in the first place, so can't complain there.
