What are some good CHEAP place to play pool. Just somewhere to hang with friends. Preferably in the downtown core close to Ryerson.

I'm not sure if you consider VIP Billiards as cheap ($9 / hr after like 6pm?) but this is the place right by Big Slice... Emery, I think this is the one you're talking about.

As for other places to shoot pool, no idea.

RaqNWaq just west of Bathurst on Queen is a really cool lounge/bar to chill and play pool....theres also a cheaper pool hall just between spadina and bathurst on queen on the north side, apparently its open 247.....and pretty sketchy, but i havent been there so i dontknow. BUt RaqNWaq I can definitely vouch for. Dont know how cheap it is tho
