I been more of a pure vinyl dj 4 a while now and i need to get round to downloading and use c.ds more. I was wondering if anyone new any good trance based websites where i could get some quality trance tunes

I just fell under the impression that 'where 2 get free downloadable trance tunes' meant just that. I could be wrong.

Check out the amateur music producers forum. Every now and then people post full tracks without any intention of trying to get a release and say you can play out their tracks if you wish.

Oh, and if they don't say whether or not you can do what you wish, it is always nice to ask them to see if you can use it when you are DJing.
