well it should if you calculate Winnings - losses on the same night. Not just a big win on one hand and you lost the same amount in 10 other games after that.

if this counts, i won a scholarship that paid for my trip to Japan, totalling about $7000

I've never won anything hugely expensive. Just a couple of signed CD's that might be slightly rare, and an Underworld vinyl box set that I've never seen in any stores so it must be kinda rare.

Just when you thought this was over, it had only just begun...

My 18yr old brother and his crazy friend Steph went to Bingo for a laugh last November....we were eating dinner when the phone rang and we joked that he was calling to tell us he had won big, we soon stopped laughing when we found out he had won £1000 ($1700), Steph had won £800 ($1450) and Stephs Mum had got £650 ($1200)

Biggest thing I have ever won physically was a flip top bottle of Grolsch. 1.5litres......and when I was 11 I won a Sony Walkman cassette (old school!). That was when we released balloons with postcards on them and when they landed and were found they were sent back to us. Mine went 180miles in around 5days, quite interesting that

I went to my friends party at a local pub. We played a Skittles tournament (Skittles is a smaller version of 10 pin bowling, not the candy). I had never played before, i won the tournament and won £50($80)

Actually....on one of the first days at Uni the hockey club ended up at a Quiz Night at the Student Union.

My useless knowledge won me £110/$180 I never thought knowing Gin was made from juniper berries, or that Trowbridge is the administrative capital of Wiltshire would ever come in handy!

I won a pair of tickets for the Montreal GP weekend this passed June, I think thats the most expensive thing so far.

my dad got 5 of 6 in the lotto right,... he won a lot of money for that...(over $10k)

well i won a bike when i was in 10th grade. but this summer i won $250 in a raffle at work so i guess that is the biggest. unfortunately i didnt get to spend it on anything special since i was struggling to pay my bills...
