Kerry Refuses to Carry His Own Bird

So today Senator Kerry puts on his elmer fudd suit and goes hunting in the good ole state of ohio
quote:

October 21, 2004
Associated Press

BOARDMAN, Ohio - Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry said he bagged a goose on his swing-state hunting trip Thursday, but his real target was the voters who may harbor doubts about him.

Kerry returned after a two-hour hunting trip wearing a camouflage jacket and carrying a 12-gauge shotgun, but someone else carried the bird he said he shot.

"I'm too lazy," Kerry joked. "I'm still giddy over the Red Sox. It was hard to focus."

Although he claims to be an avid hunter, Kerry has never joined the 315-member of the Congressional Sportsmen's Caucus. And extremist groups know his true feelings about hunting. John Kerry has a 100 percent a rating from radical animal "rights" groups like PETA and the Fund for Animals.

But upon closer observation..

Well I'm glad that you, at least, have the courage to broach the serious issues. I was going to open up a topic discussing the lack of WMD in Iraq, the massive job losses suffered during the past 4 years, the unprecedented national deficit sustained over the same period, the horrendous environmental record, the disdain for international law and treaties, the slashing of civil liberties or the general, grotesque intellectual inadequacy displayed by your president but luckily you saved me the embarrassment by presenting some real news.

No man that can't properly shoot the living shit out of innocent animals deserves to be president.

Opportunist? or how would you describe this situation today in OHIO

I understand campaigning but lacing up some boots and heading to go shoot some birds while crawling on your belly with an AK-47..hmm

Outdoorsmen are among the best advocates for preserving wildlife habitat, because they have an understanding and closeness to nature.

Look at Teddy Roosevelt and Aldo Leopold for example.

Bush backed off drilling the Rocky Mt. front in Montana (for now) because he got so many irate hunters on his ass.

I love hunters and anglers.
