Problem with Nuendo 2.0.1 & Oxygen8

so i just installed Nuendo and for some reason it doesn't like my Oxygen8. well... i don't really like it either, but i just want it to work! the Oxygen8 works fine in Cubase, and on my standalone VSTi's. i have the settings the exact same in both programs' "device setup" menus. can anyone suggest anything?
