Crossfader or Volume control to mix, or both?

Volume, because I have more control over track dynamics that way. Plus the crossfader on my mixer at home is a bit knackered.

Volume, I don't even have a crossfader...

I don't like the poll choices. Should be:

Mostly volume
Mostly crossfader
Only volume
Only crossfader
Equal mix of both

I do mostly volume, less harsh and more control.

it really depends on what i am doing. different tools for different tricks and all that...

Quite inevitable really. Does anyone use ONLY the crossfader?

Mostly volume, I use the crossfader first a little, and continue with the volume...

volume only, cross fader for backspins and such.

the only sensible way to do it really!
