Really could give a shit less right now but if anyone I would like to see the Cardinals win it all. Just to have a native Staten Islander and alum of my HS win a World Series championship would be pretty cool.
Jason Marquis, the Cardinals 3 man in their starting rotation, was a senior when I was just entering as a freshman at Tottenville High School. Watched this kid from Little League up into the bigs. Kid can throw!

Looks like the Cards vs the Sox!!!
So is Edmonds, Pujols, Walker, Rolen any match for
Schilling, Pedro, Wakefield, and Lowe?
Schilling and Pedro are hard throwing pitchers
Edmonds, Pujols, Walker, and Rolen all hit fastballs
Will Wakefield the knukkler and Lowe the Sinker prove to be ultra effective against these hitters?
Is Damon, Ortiz, Ramirez, Bellhorn any match for these big power hitters?
Boston's pitching is far better than St. Louis's, but they make up for that with their bats. Boston gets homefield 2-3-2 will this make up for the dominanting st. louis bats? I think with dimensions of fenway, it gives these national league hitters a MUCH smaller park to hit in. You look at national league teams and their fields. Their fields are notoriously perfect where as many American League outfields are contorted, shortened and with weird angles.
Suppan pitched superbly last night. Shutting down the killer B's. Clemens only mess up was the pitch to Rolan after the hype of St. Louis tying the game up.
I said it earlier - Boston in 6
At this point after watching last night and really focusing on the two teams, I'll change my vote and go with St. Louis in 6. if boston takes the first two at home.
if St. Louis takes 1 of the 2 at fenway then its St. Louis in 5.
