I'd also be interested in responses, as my hair has been growing out for a while too, although not 1.5 years (only half a year), except mine grows outward in a big fro by itself.
So....anyone with curly hair that grew it out only to chop it down later?

It's hair, it will grow back again and again. Cut it now if you want to
The shock value is always good fun with your friends and fam!
And if you decide you want it long again, grow it back out!!
hmmm..although it does look pretty good long. There is another option if you are unsure.
Why don't you make an appointment with a really funky talented hairdresser in your area and just change the shape up a bit, go for a different look, without losing the length. Then you can satisfy your craving for something new and if you don't like it, you can always just cut it off short again!

I let mine grow for about 1.5 years in High School. If you do sports, or anything else where you sweat, it will only get longer and will only get in your way more. Getting it cut short feels REALLY good - no regrets. I'm not saying a crew-cut is the answer, but long hair just didn't suit me well.

i really regretted cutting my hair. but it is back to being long now (i'm a girl so it is really long).
on guys, i love longer hair, it looks sooo hot. and by the looks of you it suits you.
like someone said, with longer hair you have options. you can cut a different sahpe into it and experiment with different styles. short hair sucks, you can't do anything with it.
long hair forever, especially for a DJ!

Yeah I have really curly hair. I just grow it out, then cut it when it gets irritating.
Medium-trim bitches!
That's what it looked like a month ago.

my question is, does anyone regret cutting their hair after growing it out for so long?

I used to have longer hair, but it was so fine and straight, it was always on my face . I used to put it behind my ears, but it looked kinda girly...
conclusion, real short is the way to go. No jel, no comb, no hassel
