Hey, new user here. Here's a preview of a track in progress, just started it tonight .. about 40min of work. Any opinons would be appreciated

Just listening to your track now - and it sounds VERY good. I too have just finished my first track and it doesnt sound anywhere near as professional as yours - if you can achieve this sort of thing in 40 minutes id like to hear something you spend days on!!

Like the strings in this one, the breakdown is real sweet. Maybe a touch on the high end eq? I think this would sound much better if it was just a little brighter.

Keep working on it, this one is gonna be a nice track when completed.

Thanks both of you for your feedback, I really appreciate it.

Pete - I will see what I can do about making it brighter - I think I'm just concerned with taming the sound right now before I master it, but yes I agree with you - I will def boost those pads.

Also have another update of the track, I replaced the bass completely, and added some synth work as well as lengthened the intro. Seems to be coming along solidly

First, very very nice tune. You HAVE to make an extended mix of this and notify me when it's done!

I really don't have any comments on the downsides of this track, because I feel there aren't any. The bass fits neatly with the kick and there is some nice background percussion going on. Nice build-up and EXTREMELY nice pads. The background sounds are very nice and balanced. As previously mentioned, nice breakdown and beautiful pads. Overall a very nice production!

I can definately see this one get signed.
