Would really appreciate some Feedback on my tunes

Hi everyone,
I am pretty much a self-taught beginner with music production. I would really appreciate any feedback (good and bad) on what you think of my tunes and any advice you can give on how to improve and progress. My first 2 tracks can be downloaded from http://www.djseige.com at:
http://www.djseige.com/tracks/Seige...0(Part%20I).mp3
and
http://www.djseige.com/tracks/Seige%20-%20Greedy.mp3

I have produced these tracks on Reason but I am very aware that the drums could be a whole lot better. Aswell as this just feel like the general sound could be alot more 'professional'. Haven't explored cubase much yet. Will rewiring to Cubase and doing a mix down in cubase give better results in terms of more professional, polished sound?

Not really my sorta sound! Maybe increase the bpm a little! Sounds like a house/indie style cross-over! Can't really say anything else because it doesn't appeal to me; though others may feel different!

Hey siege

Listened to that first track. Sounds more like funk/house than trance - but I quite liked it - you have put good bass in it. Maybe speed it up a bit

Glad you like the bass, never really thought of the tune as being funky house but I can see what you mean. Basically I was trying to combine good melodies and Bass lines into a Dance track and see where it brought me. Will try speeding it up a bit. Thanks for the feedback.
Seige.
