Smiley DJ REVIEW: Sander K & Marco V @ Godskitchen....

What a fun night!!! It was nice partying with all my friends last night... well, not ALL of them, cuz they wanted to go to MM instead! hehe I saw so many people I haden't seen in months! Good times!!!

It turns out that I knew who the opening DJ from last night was, but I didn't find out till just now. I guess I didn't go up to the front to take a close look at who it was. He played a few unstable mixes (ouch). Aside from that, he played alot of banging tracks. I liked it when he played "Daft Punk- Around The World". I haven't heard that song in years. I used to go nuts over that track when I was still in high school!! He also played "Chiapet- Westworld (skylark mix)"... atleast I think that's what it was called. I loveeee that track.

Then Sander came on around 1am, and he was amazing!! So dirtyyyy, groovy, and funky. Flawless mixing. Can't help but make you dance, from the beinging of his set, till the end. Brings out the "inner diva" in me LOL!! Those 3 screens he set up were tripping me out. He played so many fresh, new tracks that I have never heard before, and a few remixes of well known songs (which I can't recall what they were at the moment, but I am almost sure they were his own remixes). I liked that song he played that went "revolution 909... revolution 909...", he actually played it twice, which was strange, but I didn't care, cuz the song rocked!! Wow, time to DL some new Sander sets, in hopes of hearing that song again!!

Then Marco V came on, and he was ok the first hour, but after that first hour, I was thinking like "damn, I'm really not feeling this whole 'hard trance' thing, and I want to leave, but I'm not in driving condition, and I'm having fun with my friends". The only song I recognized was a new remix of "Simulated". The original is wayyy better. Other than that, I didn't really recognize any other tracks, cuz I haven't been in tune with his style of music for almost 2 years.

The opening DJ's mixing was horrible!!! I noticed so many trainwrecks. Whose idea was it to book him on a "special event" and open for SANDER??? Aside from his bad mixing, he played alot of banging tracks. I liked it when he played "Daft Punk- Around The World". I haven't heard that song in years. WAAAAAAY too many people sitting on the fucking floor...really annoying. oh then in the main room a fight broke out right in front of me! my friend got hit in the fray stupid boys...this one guy got hit in the face for whatever reason then he tried to backdown and just get away...and the guy followed him and kept hitting him, then some more ppl got in on it then my friend got hit then some random girl, that really fucked up my roll. anyway julia that track might have been daft punk - revolution 909? i dunno, im not sure if that song has vocals or not i haven't heard it in a long time.

True, but RHV still blows. He's way more popular than he should ever be.

I'll try DLing it again. If Tigran reads this thread, I'm sure he'll remember what song I'm talking about.

Oh ya, and Sander played this other song that went "cuz it's the dirt, that makes it dirty.... cuz it's the juice, that makes it juicy.... cuz it's the junk, that makes it junkie... cuz its the funk, that makes it funky". I liked itttttt!!!!!

Maybe that song sounds familiar to one of you?
