sounds ominous..

I'll look into it but I don't see it as much of an advantage:

1) All php files are cached in APC cache so each time you do something in here it doesn't read the files again from disk

2) There is barely any bandwidth consumption, GZIP output compression is turned on and well 100k of text compresses into about 12k or less... No worries.

I think you missunderstood me Swamper, as it comes to replying you have to click on "Post Reply" right? that takes you to another page where you type your text.

Loading New Page -> Bandwith

With quick reply you can reply right from the thread itself...


In any case, bandwith is not the only issue in here... it's also much more comftable as im sure you'll find out yourself once you see it
