So much uncertainty surrounds this issue of the "original" mix. The only person I know who has heard the original version is Grimreaper (a member here on TA), Cosmic Baby sent him a sample of it in the early 90s on cassette.

I guess because the real original never got out officially in any format, only a handful or less of whiteys titled as "NR52 - Cafe Del Mar" got out in '91. Kid Paul Mix being closest to it stylewise and soundwise, it's nowadays known as the original version of Cafe Del Mar.
