I got in a car accident on my way to school this morning.

I was coming around a blind corner and this car was stopped on the other end of it. I tried 2 stop but couldnt stop in time, slammed into them at about 50 mph. They had a suburu outback, and it only got a few scratches, I have a tow bar on the front of my car and it got jammed into my front bumper.

The bumper is cracked and tow bar broken. I got a ticket and stuff.

Had to call my friend to take me to school today, my car is still drive able but i was a little 2 shooken up to drive.

The guy I hit was really nice though, i got a bloody nose, i think it broken, but other then that no injuries.

I have to go to court within the next month, what am I in for?

a street with a blind corner has a speed limit of 70 mph??? shouldn't the government recognize that as a risk to accidents and reduce the speed limit?? is the road a one way road, or double lane road, because you could have avoided it by swerving to the other lane. also, was there anyone behind you, because if my physics serves me correctly, if you make a direct stop from 50 to 0, the person behind you with the same speed will have the same type of reaction as you, and you would have gotten hit from behind also.



i understand that montana has no laws with driving and everything, but this seems like a b.s. story to me.

If they were making a left turn, you have the right of way. It's their fault not yours, you should have no problem arguing that in court unless for some reason you went over the middle divider and was in their lane.

we have that here, and the most speed limit i see is 50.
