We need more Remembrance Day threads, not less.

Just heard on history channnel that Canadians shoot down over 100 confirmed kills during the Battle of Britian, being a major part of stopping the German Air Invasion.

The more time spent pondering the importance of our country's and our soldiers's contribution to the wonderful world we live in today - the better.

i wasnt born here either, but i am very thankful that men/women were brave enough to help keep this country free and peaceful. We can see the violence all over the world today, and be thankful that we may live our lives peacefully.
