my mixdown is highly effected..reverbed and compressed
now it's time for master eq and maybe maximizing...
so..

do you just put thrillme or sonic maximizer to the main effect chain or just to certain tracks?

Just do what you think sounds good.

Experiment and practice 'till you find the sound you want.

I can't mater either. At least I don't think I can, as I have no idea what it is.

But if you're talking about mastering, there's already a thread on that.

i don't know thrillme.. but the bbe sonic maximizer has almost nothing to do with "maximizing". it's just a simple hi- and low-freq exciter. i wouldn't use it on the whole mix! just use it on single tracks but keep attention that you don't overuse it.. use it only decent and always A/B it!
