Half-Life 2 or Doom 3.

Which in your opinion is better?

haven't played either, but I've heard Half-life2 has something called "a plot" in it

Yeah, I've played both and have to say, the physics in HL2 is insane. I do enjoy the plots in the hl series as well, but there still was sort of one in Doom 3. I just think overall Half-Life 2 is a more complete overall package: riveling graphics, insane physics, and deep plot. Not to mention the interface and attention to cosmetics.

I'm more of a HL fan than Doom, but Doom is still good IMO. I'll get both...

...but tomorrow, HL2 only for me.

Doom 3 was incredible for the first 45 minutes, until you realized just how repetitive it was. Oh look, a long hallway. Let's see, I'll get about half way down it, an imp will spawn in my face and as soon as I dispatch it, another will spawn right behind me. Not to mention the utter dissapointment of the final fight. Don't get me wrong, it was a great game, but HL2 just blows it clean out of the water.

Even tho HL2 is awesome, I'm still willing to give Doom 3 a try. It still looks good, so I'll prolly buy it for myself in a few weeks.

Doom 3 was boring after the first few "scares"

Have to admit, i was like bouncing all over the chair during the first hour of doom 3.then.. it was all Meh...

Now to save up enough money for a decent gfx card and get me a HL2
