that was the most ridiculous thing ever. closing a thread where BARELY any flaming went on (cept for ONE exception) it got closed.

Exactly. They just felt more comfortable chatting with people that spoke the same language as them. They didn't have a local forum in which to do that because they are from all over the world. I have numerous friends that posted in that thread.
