Before the last election, he introduced a private member's bill modelled on the Danish law, which would effectively ban all processed trans fats. Some transfats naturally occur in trace amounts in some dairy products and meat.

b) And they said smoking bans and seatbelt laws would never happen either. I remember when they first talked about a complete ban in malls and mall owners were saying that it would never pass.

I read an article a while back on this bill that just passed its second reading. The bill would introduce MANDATORY helmet use for all people of ALL ages who blade and ride a bike on roads in Ontario.

That sucks ass, I love blading and do it all the time in the summer. Having to wear a stuffy sweaty uncomfortable helmet while blading would just ruin all enjoyment for me.
