Best way to get bats is to throw a handful of dirt up in the air, then hit them with birdshot from a shotgun. Little f*ckers are real hard to hit. Easier way to get them is on roost with a shotgun point blank. Anyhow, if in close quarters, a badminton or tennis racket works good to swat them down. Sealing an entrance and throwing in a few bug bombs works good as well, but you know those environmentalists will commence squawking right away.
