Can anyone recomend some good headphones that would cost me less than U$D-50?

i would say save up to $90 and get the sennheiser hd-280pro, best sounding that's under $200. But i've also heard ok things about the cheaper sennheiser hd-212. But don't expect too much for less than $50.

He's right. I'd say 50 bucks is a little low for good headphones. $40 bucks more isn't a whole lot and it will make a world of a difference. I have 280s and I must say they are the best headphones I've ever used!

I know way toooooo many people that have broken these. They are more prone to breaking than the sony mdr-v700. Just ask Freak, he'll tell you his wonderful stories. BTW, the sound quality imo is muddy bass and tinny highs w/ a very narrow sound. the hd-280 is more natural and brighter, w/ a solid, deep but not overwhelming bass. It's also more transparent sounding. Another good one to look at is the sony mdr-7506, but as with all headphones, try before you buy b/c your head/ear shapes will vary from other people and you may like the feel/sound on one more than the other.

the sony v6s are a cheaper version of the 7506s, they are still abit more than $50 but they are the cheapest headphones that i would recomend.

i never realized the hd280s came in silver.

i own the V6, had them since last xmas

great pair of phones if ya ask me, not a thing wrong with them other than the padding material is alittle torn but thats was my fault

my dislikes about em is that they dont swivel so when theyre on your shoulders they can get in the way when youre trying to turn your head but if you use them at the tables only then you dont really do much head turning... i use them for just about everything

they go for around $90-$100 most places

i would recommend getting a headphone bag if you can, i keep my phones in the bag at all times unless im wearing them....

if you take care of your gear you shouldnt have to worry about it breaking or getting messed up...


if you do a search on www.froogle.com you can get a pair of Stanton DJ PRO 2000s for around $80, those phones are said to be pretty solid

I bought some Aiwa headphones at BestBuy for like $30 and they sound great. Very good noise cancellation and a freq response of 5hz-25,000hz!
