I have this on vinyl, but how do I rip it to an mp3?

Please post instructions and I'll hopefully be able to do it...I'm sorta dumb when it comes to audio and computers put together.

Link the line-out of your mixer to the line-in of the soundcard (on the back of your computer). Then use a program like Cool Edit to record the input and save the file to ".wav". Then use a program like Xing MP3 encoder (or any other encoder) to encode the file from wav to mp3. I hope you understand it, if you don't it's my fault because my instructions aren't very clear .
