i went to the paperbag stripper thing... i got there around 9:30.. the guys that run doubleviking are cool.. well the strippers were from an escort service... the guys wanted the girls to do lesbian shit at the "warehouse". they said they tried to bring a pole but it broke or some crap, and so the strippers were gonna dance on the back of a pick-up truck! hahaha i had to see this! i found out the strippers were gonna get there at 11... so im like fuckkkkkkk.. space was only free till 12... so then they get there around 11ish and 1 of em didnt know about the lesbian shit and she got all pissed/nervous (dont know which 1) but finally around 11:45 they return, but at that time i hauled my ass to space, drunk. on that street before space thats a 1 way, i went down the wrong way! hahah i was cracking up! i parked and speed walked to this big ass line! im like wtf.... so i just skipped like 20 something people and got in.. cedric was rockin it right for the first time for me after hearing him like 3 times. i saw flip, gave me some gum and didnt see him after that. phil, colleen and drdave from tranceaddict showed up, and deep dish took over around 2:30. that shit was packed the whole time, it was worse than ferry this past friday. i forgot my ear plugs, the smoke was bugging my eyes and i just started to get tired so i took off around 4:30ish.. i was trying to wait and hear my song - deep dish - say hello but i couldnt wait any longer. and they charged me a dollar for a cup of water.. that was gay. oh well, i wish i could've stayed longer.

Cool party, I definitely didn't expect it to be that packed. Nice meeting smokey183, and Mr. Ben, don't blame you for dipping... the dancefloor sucked, too many people not dancing, so you couldn't move if you wanted to. Cedric was ripping the sound out when we got there, and I was honestly more impressed with the first DJ, Ali(?). Sharam was spinning records with a faster bpm, but it honestly pissed me off because it didn't go anywhere after a while. My opinion... O.G. is better, the crowd definitely digs his stuff better . Got another free drink upstairs for getting my hair burnt off last week, nice meeting your boy Mike, Ry... terrace was allright, I guess Masiello just spoiled it for me. No idea about those ? marks, that's awesome Phil. Note to the people, anyone who hasn't seen the bonita in the orange top out on the patio, make sure you make it out to the terrace to see her dance... rediculous. Peace till Turkey Day...

ok, i got there around 11:30 just befor they opened the main room, as soon as they did i got a spot front and center on the stage. i now see why you guys love that stage so much. the energy up there is nuts. cedric was spinning awsome from beggining to end, i have to say i was pretty impressed. he got the crowd going pretty well.it was more crowded then it was for ferry, but it wasnt anything uncomfortable there was still room to dance.
round 2:30 Ali came on the decks. he started spinning pretty slow stuff, and i started to think that maybe you guys were right and this would be SLEEP DISH. but at around 3:30 he started spinning dropping some sick tracks. by 4 i looked back and everyone in the club was jammin. round that time a really nice lookin blonde in a pink shirt stepped into the DJ booth. she stood next to Ali, and started to pump up the crowd. she had amazing energy. she stayed in there right next to who ever was spinning the rest of the night, totally awsome chick.
round 4:30 (i think) the girl said watch this, and Sharam took the decks. he didnt take anytime getting shit going. he played with some crazy energy the entire set. he had that crowd with their hands up for a while. from the few songs i can remeber, i know he played Flash dance, and U2 vertigo, but the song of the night for me was round 6 when he dropped Blur - Song 2. the club wents went absolutely nuts, crazy, bannanas. awsome moments.
the entire night i was communicating with both of the DJs and i thought that was awsome, they were really cool. i asked them if i could go in the booth, but their manager said no. i wasnt that pissed because i understand not just anyone can into the booth. but then i just asked for an autograph and the manager still said no. i thought that was pretty messed up, but i didnt let it get to me or ruin the night/day.
stayed till about 10 on the terrace, but i was just to tired. it was great meeting dave and i think zach, i cant really remember, sorry. but next time i see you guys we will chill more. you guys were totally awesome.
all in all it was one of the best nights i have had at space this year(i missed tiesto in september, sticking kicking myself in the ass for that one) i was really impressed by the dish. eventhough i dont really like house type music you gotta give respect to good music.
hope to meet more of you guys soon.
