Hey all - I thought I'd resurrect this thread cause I am yet another flocking tourist to Florida. I'm on my way to Chile for 4 months and enroute I am coming to check out Miami for the first time. I hear Miami is one of the better places in the US for Trance. Perhaps that has changed, but I would love it if someone could share some info about a decent trance night anywhere from Jan 13-Jan 18 that you may know of.

Ive been reading some threads here about Space and Crowbar, and though they are very popular, I'm not sure it's what im looking for in a trance night. I found myself at the Space website and the song that hit my ears almost made me puke cause thats the exact type of music i'm trying to avoid. but i checked out some events happening when im there...

eg. Sat jan 15 Eric Marillo + residents, would this be a night of good trance and vibes?
Is Suzy Solar still doing amazing things with trance

I wouldn't say that Rock Your Body is necessarily an example of what Space is like on the whole. You should try checking out Edgar V while you're in Ft. Lauderdale/Miami. I'm not from South FL so I couldn't really tell you too much of the ins and outs of Miami nightlife.

Yes Suzy is still doing her thing. Suzy's track, Ocean Of Love, was on Oakenfold's Creamfields compilation. She is currently working on a track with Mike Foyle (fellow TA). You should check out her website. www.suzysolar.com

I love Lange. A lot of people in here love AvB and Rank 1. Dumonde is great. Not too many people mention Alphazone although they've done some brilliant work (especially their remixes).

ya holy Alphazone remixes are amzing ie. DJ Kim - Jet Lag, CEYLON - Immortal, Digital Pressure - Aftershokk, Ralph Novell - Wrong Love.

and I agree that one track shouldn't set the stage for the whole club but I know how "the biggest" club can be. I'd love to see Suzy Solar that weekend, but prolly won't happen....

i don't think eric morillo will be playing too much trance considering he is known as one of the most bad ass house dj's around..this party will definitely be awesome, i will be making it there but not to hear trance...Edgar V is really the only local trance dj that has many nights along with markus..more progressive but one of the best imo...anyway for january till march there is not alot as all the big trance peeps wait till conference from here on out

woah you know your shit. very cool. At first I thought the piano part was a bit weak, but it hit me one day and I think its really good. I really love how it blends well into the synth build up after.

Yeah I think sota knew EM wasn't trance. I'll try to see Edgar V if I have the chance. but if that party is going to be sick, I may just see... thanks for the inf.

Mia lounge is in hollywood and is a good place to chill on monday nights. Space of course, but most of their residents play house (but its really good house). noctural should be open by the time you get down here, but i dont knwo what kind of music their residents will play.
