När jag varit utomlands har jag använt tecken använt teckensnittsguiden, ni vet när man håller inne alt+0223 så får man tex ett tyskt dubbel-s (ß)

I won't even try this in Swedish, but in the control panel for keyboards you can install different languages pretty easily. So now I can switch between English and Swedish down near the clock. My keyboard is US, but with the Swedish one I just use what is normally ; ' and [ and then I get ö ä och å. It is much better than cut and paste! Tack så mycket!
