virus classic is their 'affordable' virus (basically a virus b with some extra presets and a different paint job). i think they ditched the racks because you could rackmount the desktop version easily enough and it offered the full control surface of the virus instead of the 1u rack which had like 4 rotaries controlling everything. i was surprised and a little annoyed that access discontinued virus c after virus TI was announced and even more annoyed that vendors like turnkey just stopped listing virus c's for sale. i mean TI isnt even out yet. this is because i was one of those people that was looking to snap up a deal on 2nd generation hardware. so when all the virus c's disappeared and all the ones that were left were still full price, i jsut ebay'ed a virus b instead.

they should. you remember they kept updating the virus A OS after it had been discontinued, even adding the virus b mod matrix and stuff. access seem to be really good like that. its just that after they release a new virus platform, in the case the TI, every virus c seemed to have disappeared from most retailers i know. theres a few you can still buy but they are still priced similarly to the TI. a shame
