I was wondering if anyone has been at the (in)famous 'full moon parties' @ Ko Pha Ngan - Thailand. I have been there november 2000 and this was definitely the best party I have ever been!
(and I have seen quite a lot: dance valley, sensation, impulz, etc etc.)

5000-10000 backpackers with smiles on their faces, dancing and jumping barefeet on the beach. In front the nice quiet sea, behind the rocks and palmtrees, above the full moon and brigth stars and all around: extremely loud, excellent dance music!!

Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of the party itself, so if anyone has pictures of the full-moon party sep 2000 edition, plz let me know.

More people with good "full-moon" experiences??

OMG! I've been harping on about this for ages and finally somebody else who's been!! I was at the Sept 2000 party and it was one of the most amazing nights of my life!

from each party. You know Sven Vath turned up at one last Feburary and took over the decks?

Where did you stay then? I stayed on Koh Samui and got the boat over direct onto the beach , but I missed it the next morning coz I was at some bar on the side of the hill looking over the bay, dancing my tits off! So me and two other dudes had to pay this fisherman to take us back to Samui, but the bugger dropped us off on the wrong side of the island, so we then had to pay another dude to take us back to our bungalow by jeep. Worth every penny though coz we got to stand up in the back

That's great!! I was not at the september edition though, but the november one. But who cares, they're all great! Remember the Vinyl??? That was a nice place, with the tree growing in the middle of the dance-floor!!

I stayed at Ko Pha Ngan for a week @ king's bungalows. I can really recommend this place to anyone!! Very nice french woman runs the place together with her Thai hospent. It's cheap, and really beautiful (and they sell large cigarette papers, hehehe...)

I am planning to go back next year!!! Already looking forward to it. Hey, do you remember the nice bars built on the rocks on the leftside of the beach? Got any nice "mushroom"-shakes there?? that was total fun!
