recording with a echo indigo i/o

hi there.before work today i picked up a Echo Indigo I/O.before leaving i noticed quickly that the in/out are just rca's or some small cable....they are not 1/4" in/outs...so i guess recording from my synth will be poor quality? ill need another soundcard for recording in good quality? (its just for my laptop) thanks

I have the Indigo I/O for recording. They have 1/8" input and output plugs. You can get a 1/4" to 1/8" plug that will connect your synth to your laptop.

Well Echo claims you'll still be recording at 24/96. I wouldn't worry about it. The lost of quality is too small for anyone but engineers to detect.
