I use one hand for everything, not because it's cool, but because it's easier. The thing is, I took my mother somewhere today and she said; using one hand is very vulgar (esp. if with a girl). The gf doesn't care, but maybe she doesn't want to bother me?

what do the ladies say?

Well considering I drive a standard car... Most of the time i only have one hand on the wheel, however when I'm turning I use both..

I don't care if my b/f drives with one hand or two, makes no difference as long as I feel safe.. Which is also a rare occurance for me. I have a hard time with being a passenger.. I like to be in control

You guys are crazy... I'm surprised nobody else uses 2 hands...

I drive a 6-speed as well, and the only time I don't have two hands on the wheel is when I'm shifting gears.

actually when I drove the rental van a few weeks back, I had my hands on the wheel at all times. Theres too much random shit going on to not do that out here.
Calgary, youre more likely to hit a pylon than anything else.

i actually drive worse with two hands on the wheel cuz my hands get tired and i get annoyed/distracted...

even on highway, unless theres something going on or its hard turn i go 1 hand at 6 oclock...

Haha, I was just going to ask why there isn't an "I drive with one knee and turn with my teeth/elbow/forehead/whichever body part isn't occupied by the coffee or the bagel" option.
