Hi guys, ive got anice little HP laptop that i use for work, im wondering what sort of software i can use to back my drive, or completely the PC to my 60gb usb hdd.

Im looking for something simple.. i could always ghost an image.. but i want to do daily backups....

I think you could use Symantec Ghost. Dont know how long it'd take you to do back-ups though.

just kidding .. but if you want to backup your "whole drive", then that's insane.. especially everyday .. what i do is group all my important documents and special programs i make in one space (about 45 to 50 megs .. all text anyways .. nothing binary) .. other than that .. no programs .. no mp3s (arggg.. ) .. hahhaa

Drag and drop your drive onto the portable drive, and click no if you want to replace existing files.

Im really after an automated simple process....

Something with the least amount of user handling once its setup properly...

thats why things are automated.... duh!
