How about this for a change, you pick a price a budget, then ask for the best mixer in that budget. If you are having a hard time spending a lot on the mixer, go w/ the Vestax.

Agree with the above (what onceler said). If you're considering the NUO 5 and have the money for it then buy it, you can't go wrong with it. If you don't have the money for it, then save up or give a budget and buy a cheaper one. You get what you pay for in the end.

Dont even start to compare these two man.

The pcv275 is tops for its price range.

The ecler nuo5 is good, although the denon dnx1500 is cheaper, and better imo. But both of these are in a totally different price range than the vestax.

the ecler is the vestax's daddy. the 275 is great, but not THAT great!

How much research are you putting into to this before picking a mixer? Are you just picking 2 items out of a hat and asking for opinions on them? If you are serious about purchasing a mixer, try setting a budget first, then look at mixers that fall in that budget and ask for opinions on them. Also, figure out what type of mixer you would like to have. Your first question included a scratch-type mixer, now you are up to the effect mixers, what are you going for?
