DJ Furniture

Hi everyone. I am about to by all of my DJ gear and want to buy some nice furniture for my apartment to put all the stuff on. I was going to buy the Sefour X30 table, the Sefour x30 glass top, and the Sefour RS001 (vinyl storage unit) but apparently Sefour is a British company and there are no distributors into the US anymore for their products or at least at the moment so apparently you can't order their crap at the moment?

If that is the case, can anyone recommend some nice stuff as an alternative. If you have any suggestions, would you please be kind enough to provide a link or something....

I don't want to build anything or get just a normal table... I want something designed for a DJ, like the Sefour products that hold vinyls, decks, etc.

Thank you.

-Keith

These topics pop up all the time, do a search for more hits. Talk to TA member: Dj Tranz (djmart.com) and see what he can come up with. Also, seach for the thread in here about this as it talked about the exact IKEA parts that you would need (with pics) for the dj desk.

You could always build you own as well.

Just introduced a Sefour knockoff minus the glass top. Introductory price is $300 including a standalone vinyl storage unit. It's in the latest catalog. Someone had to do it. The Sefour is overpriced.

the Jerker line on Ikea.com is well suited for a DJ setup.. someone on the "post pics of your setup" post has it and it looks pretty nice

do a quick search through the forums and you'll find his post about it.. its prolly under "DJ tables" or something similar

Well one could always make on himself or hire someone to build a custom table specially for ones needs. Many people understimate the height of the table - tt's have to bee quite high so you wouldnt need to crouch, also the mixer. you have to feel comfortable too - not having backpains from crouching over too small of a table. im a bit hungover atm so excuse me if im typing a little 'ununderstandable'
