###Tiesto @ the World Review###
Rui Da Silva performed singing her smash hit "Touch Me". She sounded fabulous live. She sang another song...I'm not familiar with it.
At 3:30 Tiesto came on...STRONG! Banging! It was jam fucking PACKED...with an obnoxious crowd. He played ALL the tunes we expected & predicted he'd play, 6 tracks from Magik 7.
He played the usual tracks he recycles:
His Flesh remix, Insigma- Open ur eyes, his remix of Yahel- Voyage, Utah Saints- Lost Vagueness (Oliver Lieb main mix) .
Tracklisting:
Salt Tank- Eugina (Tiesto remix)
Riva- Stringer
Wind Sider- Hide U on Flight 643 followed by Flight 643 (Orginal remix)
PPK- The Resurrection
CJ Bolland- The Prophet
Jose Amnesia- The Eternal
Fire & Ice- Sounevir De Chine
Rammstein- Ich Will (PVD Remix) (Trancer it wasn't Joy Energizer)
Pulser- Cloudwalking
Ralphie B- Massive
Balearic Bill - Destination Sunshine (Tiësto Power mix)
Marco v - Simulated
M.I.K.E sunrise at palamos
##Encore## (as predicted)- Urban Train
He dropped Silence (Tiesto in search of sunrise remix) ...the place went BERSERK! (He NEEDS to retire that tune...it's had its day. It was the anthem of 2000...we are approaching 2002). The lights came on, bubbles were floating in the air. Tiesto came out from the booth to the stage w/2 signed records in his hands. He threw them into the crowd. Then he started jumping up & down, dancing. He was EXTREMELY animated while spinning. He was wearing a kool aid smile the entire night! Great vibe & energy from the crowd. The crowd LOVED him! Mad Israeli's up in that place...REPRESENT! Tiesto looked really happy to be back in NYC again.
He played OLD tunes...classics from 99. I didn't recognize all of 3 tunes. Don't get me wrong, I had a great time dancing w/my friends & Twilo chik & DJ Garfield. Trancer it was nice meeting ya. I wish he woulda have played Frat boy- Afterburn or his track Close to U (Magik Muzik remix), his remix of Velvet moods.
This was my 3rd time seeing Tiesto & Tiesto's 2nd time in NYC. This set was NOT mind blowing, special, or unique. It was like every other set he has played. I like my music loud but the system was too LOUD. I lost my voice...from talkin to ppl. I'd rather lose my voice than get a migrane at Vinyl. I LOVE Tiesto but I wasn't impressed.
