Instructors at my old dojo would occasionally blast that song when we did drills - still pisses me off everytime I hear it.
Ayla - Ayla is a great tune. Ayla pt. 2 though is kind of annoying I think
And yeah, what's up with Rank 1 - Airwave? That song makes me want to sleep.
You are obviously looking for something upbeat and melodic, so I would recommend pretty much anything Magik (1-7). Also, Tiesto's Forbidden Paradise albums (the ones he did, I know) are hard-influenced with a melodic beat to them - definitely check those out.
As far as individual songs go, I have a playlist of melodic bass-driven songs (to a certain degree) that I usually play during workout sessions.
Push - Universal Nation (the Anthem)
Paul van Dyk - Words(For Love) (original mix)
Paul van Dyk - Words (Curved Headcase Mix)
Alibi - Eternity (Innercity Mix)
Sunscreem vs. Push - Please Save Me
Ayla - Ayla (Taucher Mix)
Kai Tracid - Your Own Reality (Tracid Mix)
Armin - Communication
Moogwai - Viola (Armin van Buuren Remix)
Kamaya Painters - Wasteland
Insigma - Open Your Eyes
Three Drives - Sunset On Ibiza
CJ Bolland - The Prophet
Tiesto - Nyana
Kamaya Painters - Endless Wave
DJ Tiesto - Theme From Norefjell (DJ Jan & Christophe Chantzis Mix)
Way Out West - Mindcircus (Gabriel and Dresden Remix)
Nalin & Kane - Open Your Eyes
Ayu - M (van Eyden vs. M.O.R.P.H. Remix)
Binary Finary - 1998 (Ronski Speed Remix)
Max Graham - Airtight
PPK - ResuRection (Space Club Mix)
Goldenscan - Sunrise (DJ Tiesto Remix)
Man With No Name - Sugar Rush
Transa - Prophase
Kaycee - Escape
I know you probably won't adhere to this list by any means, but I've found it gets things going indefinitely. Good luck in your training!
