I played with one at guitar center last week and it seemed nice. Probably gonna get a pair for x-mas.

they are great beginner's decks. decent power, and they look nice too. obviously, they wouldn't match up to a tech or vestax etc, but they are not supposed to. probably one of the better decks in the price range.

i was expecting a barrage of hatred here lol!!!

ive had mine just over 1 year now, and i absolutely DESPISE them

theyr the first pair ive bought myself but ive used my m8s stanton str8 60s a lot (YES! HOW FUCKIN OLD R THEY NOW!!)as well as technics.. and they r 1 MILLION times easier to use and FAR better pitch control!!!

i cant even beatmatch the tunes properly on my numarks most the time, coz the slightest knock on the pitch adjust as ur moving it, and u throw the whole fuckin thing out

seriously none of u people have this problem?!

i think their fuckin cheap an nasty plastic SHITE!

gimee stantons or techs anyday! thats wot am gettin A.S.A.P as soon as i find some1 willing to take care of these poor pieces of shit

*I WILL NEVER B BUYING NUMARK AGAIN*

I've got 1650s, I can beatmatch fine.

I think you are just shit.

And coming from me, thats saying something.

Yes, they do fluctuate in pitch a fair bit, but you can still do longish mixes with no problems, and you get really good at fixing errors quickly. To say Technics are 1 million times better is not much of a comment, of course they are 1 million times better, they are much better and much more expensive. Thats like comparing a Hyundai to a Mercedes.

I'm not saying they are good, they are pretty shit, but if you can't beatmatch on them, well...............

Thast directed at ScAza, not you tu_face, despite the quote

hehe, i used to have tt1650's too. you are right, they are great to learn on, they are still plastic and shit though.

but yeah, if you can't put a mix together on them then you need to practise more..

all decks fluctuate in pitch, even technics. where the money goes is on the motor so it fluctuates less. with techs, it can be as little as 0.015% (it averages around 0.025%), whereas with the cheaper decks (e.g. tt1650) you are looking at more like 0.25%. so in reality, technics are not a million times better, more like 10 times better

FIRST PERSON.. i can read.. i am not 6, i know wot i bought, and what i wasted so much hard earned ££ on...

2nd PERSON:

dont judge my DJing u arrogant tit, coz u hav never seen or heard me play?!?! idiot.

perhaps i got a dodgy pair, even tho they were new, i dont know coz mine r the only tt 200s ive ever used. i used stantons (of aparently "lower" spec) and technics too tho, an i mix perfectly on them everytime. u hav said u hav 1650s NOT 200s. so why say so categorically that im wrong anyway?!?!

i never said i cant beatmatch on them i said "most the time i cant do it properly" (as in "perfect"), because of the SHITE pitch adjust.

my point about the "million times better thing" is just to illustrate that for about £300 more (about 2 weeks wages at the time), i could hav held out for a pair of top o the range techs or stantons, and had NONE of these problems, and not have to replace my decks after only 1 year. why is that such a useless comment?

ive been doin it 3 years and am not shit, im not big headed about my DJin but i'm FAR from shit

whoa, calm down big fella.

The 1650s are of lower spec than 200s (1600<1650<200<500
Correct, I have never heard you play. But when you say you "Can't beatmatch properly", I took that to mean you struggle to beatmatch, not struggle to be perfect. Yeah, it is hard to be perfect on them, but thats part of their character. Every time I play on mine, it is an adventure, without a doubt.
I do agree with everything you have said about them, their pitch control is crap, their motor weak, and obviously Technics are going to be better, thats why they are much more expensive (especially over here) and why they are the industry standard etc etc, it was just that one comment about beatmatching I interpreted wrong.

And yes, I am an arrogant tit.
