After thinking long and hard, I have to choose money of pleasure this NYE so we will be driving back up from LA a couple days early this year to go see Ferry Corsten & J00F back-to-back.
If I had the free pathway for Tiesto, I'd go to that just because I know it's going to be a surreal experience. But I could really use saving that $150, and you know the drink prices are going to be INSANE.
But it was meant not to be. I will be up here in SF seeing Ferry Corsten. And then J00F the next night.
I'll at least be seeing Tiesto here next Wednesday.

It is very slim here in San Diego NYE.
Christopher Lawrence is here but it is up at the Hilton La Jolla. I made a pact to myself that I will not drive on "ubernights" such as NYE. I live close to Gaslamp so I also live by the cab when I go out. It isn't worth it to me to make the trip to La Jolla.
I made the mistake of going to the Prado Party last year. Terrific venue but not equipped to handle such a throng of bodies. A friggin mess. I got a ride, took a cab, and drove to the Prado at different times all in the same night. Don't ask me why.
I have resigned myself to going to "party" downtown. Looks like the W.
