I find the Uk scene weird like its fucking wicked and all that but I find there is a lot of tossers out there who hate trance they have the same old stereotypes to people who listen to dance music, and I know it gets annoying in a way. I blaim any cheesy trance on Dave Pearce I fucking hate the guy he's 10 times worse then judge Jules is even for playing commercial trance, Roll another fat one you fat ****! i would love it if someone phoned him and said that but yeah he's the reasons people like Ian Van Dahl and ATB make money for their cheesy tunes. Also another thing is most the people who hate trance in the UK are either beer boy yobs who listen to their Indie music or a group of smoothies who listen to their shitty UK garage booming from their beamers, talking like their complete rudebwoys dancing like a group of gimps, and shouting bullshit like 'Boooo' whatever that means and 'Rewind', that scene should get a bad light cos A the musics the worst music in the Uk, B theres so much attitude and agro on their scene, and C their an arrogent group of champagne swilling ****s death to UK fucking garage, their the worst for putting down people in the Uk who listen to trance they totally hate it. Also yeah and unfortunatly you get your know it alls who listen to Judge Jules on saturday and think they know the Trance scene through and through, and to be honest with you the Trance scene is best music scene in the world there's no snobbery, no attitude and everyones friendly and respects each other, just a pity media and other people have different views on it and tars anyone who listens to trance with the drug brush, bullshit no one who takes e causes trouble just look for the tossers in Ben sherman shirts

couldn't agree w/ u more. i could go on and on about this, but here's all i'll say: it drives me absolutely nuts when i'm in my car or something, listening to trance and some1 will say, " see. now this i like", referring to some random track.

*clenches fists and grits teeth*

so!!! who cares!!!! like i'm tryin' to convert them or that i'm searchin for music that they'll like w/ the hpoes that they'll bless me w/ their approval. so aggravating

i always love it when people say it all sounds the same. yeah doesnt rap only use like one kind of beat through the whole song. no build ups or anything like that. or what about you cant dance to it. just cause you cant grab a girl and grind to it doesnt mean you cant move to it. besides it takes a lot more talent to dance to trance anyways. and my favorite trance is drug music. im not even gonna get started on that one

Loads of ppl complain about ppls prejudices 2wards trance (or wateva u wanna call it) so dont complain about otha ppls. Each 2 ther own. Ok ther r sum ppl in the garage 'scene' who r twats... but not all, the same goes 4 the trance 'scene'...

fair enough dig2k you might know some cool people or have mates who listen to UK Garage right and I'm sure their nice people, but everyone I know who listen to Uk Garage are a group of arrogent ****s, my mates who listen to Drum and Bass even comment on the atitude of the UK Garage scene, I can't stick it musicially and I've met a fair share of twats that listen to it fair enough you can accuse me of stereotyping them, but after all I don't walk around in a Gucci suit drinking fucking champagne and act like I own the place its just my view dude Peace

No one likes everything and people that like all genres of music have to put up with criticism. Not everyone likes rap, country, heavy metal..
And they'll make stereotypical comments and remarks about each of them. Its not just tranceaddicts who put up with stuff like this
But I do understand where you're coming from. Some of my friends love trance, or love hardhouse and they'll rag on you if you don't like their favorite stuff...
Or people will say "what the hell is that stupid drug music crap you're listening to?"
But I can usually change their minds about the music if I burn them a few CDs and actually rationalize with them.

Personally i don't give a shit what ppl think of trance. I like it and personally i don't give a shit. The less ppl that show up, more space i got on the dancefloor.
