Lets not kid ourselves after shiite is in control, iraq will be a puppet state of iran so why are we kidding our selves, you think bush will just bomb them once election results are in? or will Iraq go into a civil war, creating another israel / palestine realation....

the best thing to do is to split irak into three states. kurds, sunni, and shi'ites. that'd be the best thing. if we were to nuke iran, the international backlash would be enormous, and other nations would use this as an excuse to use their own nucleur weapons. unless iran were to strike first.

Invading Iraq was a mistake to begin with,and everyone knew that if Saddam leaves Iraq would become another Iran,but I guess Bush was too busy with the oil and WMD there and didnt see it coming.

I cant believe in 2004 we are still talking about using nuclear bombs,it is pathatic.You'd think men would learn his mistakes from the history but I guess not.

Ok...

1) America is never ever gonna use nukes in conflicts like these

2) America does not have enough troops for another conflict (for years)

3) America cannot play the al-Qaida card with Iran

4) One excuse America could use is that it is a known sponsor of terrorism, but as that is mainly Hizballah, then that should be of no concern to America

5) I think (?) there is a moderate reformist movement in the country

6) Another excuse could be the plans for nuclear weapons, but there is already a diplomatic solution ongoing to that problem

7) I know this really doesn't bother Bush et al, but attacking yet another Muslim country would be disasterous for the war on terror
