The most successful club in English football vs the most popular and successful team of the 90s in England, not to mention they are only 30 miles apart, and on a bad note there were numerous street battles between both sets of fans in the 80s. Liverpool Vs Everton
Back in the late 19th century. Everton use to play on Liverpool's current home Anfield. Everton were the tenants, though they had rent paying problems, so the Landlord kicked them off, and they moved a few tiny miles to Goodison Park. The problem now was, the landlord didn't have anyone using Anfield, so he created Liverpool FC. The rest they say is history. In the 80s, it use to be considered the friendliest competitive derbies on and off the pitch, as they dominated England though since they've both fallen into decline its gone bitter between them.
