Yeah. That's right. I saw it go in. I saw the ball go in the goal!

What a load of crap.

This is disgusting. For years people have said that the likes of Man Utd and Arsenal get the benefit of the doubt from referees but noone can deny that this is just outright cheating. Forget all that "some go for you some go against you, all evens itself up" bollocks. The clubs who get all the big decisions are always quick to come out with that line. How many sides have won a penalty at Old Trafford since the Premiership began? I remember when Newcastle should have had a blatant penalty there last year and someone pointed out that noone had scored one there in 10 years! The only one that had been scored was made to be retaken and was saved.

This goal against Man Utd in the dying seconds was disallowed today as it was judged not to have crossed the line. The game finished 0-0:

This has to be the last straw, surely?

There are some referees simply should not be refereeing. Neale Barry should never be allowed near a Newcastle game because of what he did to Olivier Bernard at Goodison Park two years ago. But he was allowed to officiate us against Everton again this season and he did it to Bernard again. And last night again he was going to send Johnson off for a challenge on Bernard but the West Brom players told him not to so he put his red card away! Afterwards the West Brom players even said that the ref was going to red card him but changed his mind. The guy blatantly has something against us and I was gutted when I found out he was reffing the game, my optimism completely disappeared.

It has nothing to do with united cheating, but still how did non of the officials spot that. I mean, it goes like 6ft over the line! These ref's come close to Urs Meier's performance in euro 04!

shocking. Really awful.

Felt the worst of one of these as a bolton fan when in 1997 we had one identical from acorner vs everton, not given, game ended 0-0, we went down to Everton that year on goal diff... awful feeling, believe me

didnt see this game but this is what Im talkin about when I say FIFA needs a replay system.Stuff like this might make FIFA decide quicker, but watch it will probably have to be another error in a more important game for FIFA to approve

It's a shame, and I'll take the proud bashing for this but....

Hardcore fan says it will make the game into the NFL, I say it will kill excuses and Juve's title hopes!!!!!

FORZA INSTANT REPLAY

I would only like to see the instant replay if there were clear guidelines for when it could and couldn't be used. We don't want referees running over to check the replay every 2 minutes because of a tackle, and we don't want players whinging for them to look at the video every 2 minutes. If it was just used for checking whether the ball has crossed the line then it would very rarely be needed and wouldn't present a problem, but anything more than that and I'd be worried that the sport would lose it's free-flowing nature.

yea,the ball crossing the line replay is the only realistic use of the replay. It woudnt work with any other aspect of the game.

maybe they could restrict the number of times the players or manager could request a replay like in the nfl to like maybe 2 or 3 times per game.

but whoa even though im not complaining at the mistake i cant beleive that a referees assistant could not have seen something like that ... its ridiculous ... but its funny how all of a sudden so many controversial decisions are being made especially since its a period when the epl is pondering the introduction of new technology to assist referees.... i dont think the entire last season saw that much controversy that half this season has seen

It's actually comical how far that ball is over the line.

Wtf was the linesman doing and the ref for that matter. Surely they should get the sack after decision making like that.
