Stanton 30b's All that bad?

Hi all, i was mixing with my friends. The Stanton 30b's are not all that bad. The people that review them online are mostly Rap and Hiphop dj's. When i was mixing they were all right. Post what you think on here about the 30's.

Bestbuy.com has the Stanton DJ 101 starter kit on sale tonight for $150. It comes with TWO Stanton str8-20's, needles, and mixer. If the 30's are crap, I can't imagine how bad the 20's are. But they're probably okay if you just want to try DJ'ing, and are going to beat the shit out of your vinyl and decks before upgrading in a month.

There goes mine... well its something to start with you know, i'm going to try to save up for some Technics, but until then it all works out... I just don't have the money. If i can find some for about 150-200, I can get one.

Currently yea the Technics are the leading turntable by most views and industry standard...that doesnt really make them all that great now since no one gives otehr turntables a chance like vestax or the brand new numarks which are pretty nice i must say. So just save up and wait for the review on the other turntables to ensure your are buying the best for what you pay for.

Hell I can be a pro at what i got. You know, they might say there the best, but Stanton has the highest torque... wierd huh, no one just gives them a chance. But i'm not worried you know, i have some tricks to keep my torque up, it was challenging, but I seem to have it down now .

I'm not worried about getting new tables till at least May-June. When that time comes around i'll probally get Technics, but i'm looking for someone to get me a special price on them...

technics are proven work horses, that's the only problem with the newer tables, they don't have the track record the techs have

give them a few years for the tables to see some good long term use and they'll probably have nothing but good things said about them too

+1

This is me...

I just hate everyone saying Technics are the best, Stanton's suck dick etc... God people just stop, ok there good and all etc, but believe me there are way better tables out there then Technics, Technics are rap/hiphop djs dreams because of the scratching etc. I don't know much about Technics, but i have played on them, there nice, but I couldn't say there the best, until i have tired them all.

Only thing about the 30b's I don't like is the simi jumpy pitch control, and the torque is a little down, but there is a method that i use so that won't happen. Other than that great tables. They don't skip, great sound...

So if your want some good decks, go with the 30b's you can save money, and still love it.
